ACTIVE TEXAS STATE STUDENTS
Active Texas State students with no account holds may register for extension courses at any time through the Texas State Self-Service portal. Course registration follows the Texas State registration schedule, including late registration and schedule changes.
Inactive/Non-Texas State Student
You do not have to be a TXST student to enroll in Extension courses! Inactive Texas State students and non-Texas State students may request to enroll in Extension courses using the form linked below.

If you need a Closed Course Override or need technical support with registering.
Course Prerequisites and TSI Compliance
OXP does not verify if course prerequisites or TSI requirements have been satisfied. Additionally, we cannot advise students on courses to take in fulfillment of degree requirements. We strongly encourage students to meet with their academic advisor before registering for extension courses.
Non-Texas State students will need to provide transcripts or documentation verifying that TSI requirements and prerequisites have been satisfied. If you are exempt from the testing requirements, please contact the Texas Success Initiative Office for a list of acceptable documents you can provide as official proof.
