OXP offers many college courses through Extension Studies to support the TXST academic departments/schools. Extension courses may be offered face-to-face, online, or hybrid/blended. Our faculty-led Study-in-America program provides students with the experience of studying beyond the traditional classroom setting. Enrollment in an extension class does not require or constitute admittance to Texas State University.

Study In America
The faculty-led Study in America field programs offer courses with a travel destination and field experience that align with the course objectives. These programs usually take place in the spring and summer semesters. These extension programs are offered at locations across the United States.
NROP
The Non-Resident Tuition for Online Programs (NROP) initiative was created to help Bobcats who live outside of the State of Texas and take 100% of their coursework online within eligible programs by paying fees equivalent to in-state residential tuition.
Global Career Accelerator
The Texas State Global Career Accelerator is a for-credit, online program that equips undergraduates with in-demand skills, real-world experience, and a path to a great career. The program offers students online experiences with brand partners from more than 100 leading global organizations.
