Comprehensive Compliance Training for Healthcare Professionals

This training is ideal for providers, compliance professionals, practice managers, billing supervisors, consultants, and anyone seeking a better understanding of medical office compliance guidelines. 

Learn your compliance liabilities and responsibilities for hazard communication, proper disposal of PHI, mobile device security, ADA accessibility, and prescribing opioids. Know what to do when an auditor contacts your office, and how to minimize the adverse effects of fraud investigations. Implement policies and procedures that protect providers and the practice from undue risks and penalties associated with non-compliance. The instructor will review Medicare, HIPAA, OSHA, and OIG Workplan updates with case examples. Patient communication, reporting a breach, and avoiding fraud will be discussed. This course includes sample compliance checklists, gap analysis site survey, and HIPAAcompliant forms.
