The Online Filmmaker Studio provided by EIF INDUSTRY is an online high school film summer course designed for students interested in digital storytelling and video production.
As a part of the TXST Pre-college Summer Intensive Series, this course guides students through structured filmmaking modules, production workflow, and faculty critique. Participants develop a completed short film utilizing Smashcut software while learning revision techniques and professional presentation standards.
Throughout the four-week program, students work independently within a guided framework and receive meaningful professional feedback.

Requirements
No prior filmmaking experience is required. However:
- Students will need access to a computer with reliable internet and a webcam
- For production work, students may use a smartphone or any basic video camera (DSLR or similar if available)
- Basic video editing software is required; if students do not already have access, Adobe Premiere Pro will be provided for the duration of the course
