Bachelor's of Applied Arts and Sciences, B.A.A.S. with Aviation Sciences Concentration
The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (B.A.A.S). Major in Applied Arts and Sciences (Aviation Science Concentration) prepares students to earn the certifications and licensure required for professional pilots through a structured pathway that includes FAA_approved flight training in partnership with coast flight training providers and FAA Part 141 flight schools. Students progress through flight courses that support preparation for key Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) pilot certifications, such as the Private Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot Certificate, and additional advanced flight ratings that align with industry standards for professional pilots. These certifications are nationally recognized FAA certifications, and the Aviation Science concentration is designed so that graduates completing the required flight training components can pursue these FAA credentials upon satisfying flight time and performance requirements.
